Chronic Pain Management

Chronic pain is defined as pain that has been present in a patient for greater than two to three months.

Generally, chronic pain will not improve unless some intervention is performed.

At Comprehensive Pain Management Associates we take a multi-modality approach to treatment based on the location and type of pain.  Some of these modalities we employ include:

  • Epidural steroid injections
  • Trigger point injections
  • Radiofrequency ablation
  • Dorsal column stimulator
  • Prolotherapy
  • Stem cell injections
  • Percutaneous discectomies.
  • Botox injections.
  • Joint injections using either cortisone or hyaluronic acid derivatives (for example Hyalgan).
  • Facet joint injections.
  • Selective nerve blocks.
  • Peripheral nerve blocks.

These modalities have proven to help improve and eliminate patient’s pain over a period of time.
